Sparx Forward Of The Week - Parker Carrabba

The European Union College Hockey League (EUCHL) is proud to announce Parker Carrabba of the Brno Lions as the Sparx Forward of the Week, following an outstanding opening weekend that helped lead the Lions to a two-game sweep of the Prague Guardians.

Carrabba delivered a dominant offensive performance across the weekend, recording five goals and four assists for nine points in two games as Brno opened its season with back-to-back victories.

The Lions began the weekend with a 5–1 victory over Prague on Saturday, October 17, with Carrabba contributing two goals and two assists. He followed that performance with a three-goal, two-assist effort in Sunday's 7–5 road victory, completing the weekend with a hat trick and scoring the decisive goal as Brno held off a late Guardians rally.

Carrabba factored into nine of Brno's 12 goals across the two contests, demonstrating the scoring touch, offensive awareness, and ability to deliver in critical moments that define an elite forward.

His weekend performance also highlighted the competitive level emerging in the EUCHL's inaugural regular season, as university-based teams across Central Europe begin establishing themselves in the league.

Recognizing Excellence with Sparx Hockey

The Sparx Forward of the Week award recognizes forwards whose performances stand out through scoring production, offensive impact, and contributions to their team's success.

The award is presented in partnership with Sparx Hockey, the EUCHL's Official Skate Sharpening Equipment Provider. The league's partnership with Sparx reflects a shared commitment to providing student-athletes with quality equipment and resources that support performance and player development.

Carrabba's nine-point weekend sets an early benchmark for offensive production in the 2026–27 EUCHL season and makes him a fitting recipient of the league's first weekly forward recognition of the campaign.

As the season continues, the EUCHL will spotlight standout performances from student-athletes competing across its member programs.

Congratulations to Parker Carrabba and the Brno Lions on an impressive opening weekend.
