EUCHL MISSION

The EUCHL facilitates and fosters competitive, academic and operational excellence for its member teams through the sport of ice hockey. The EUCHL is designed to support the academic and athletic aspirations of North American born student athletes.  The league seeks to create opportunities for these players who seek to play professional hockey in Europe in the future.

EUCHL VISION

The EUCHL strives to be the best college hockey development opportunity in Europe by embracing our core values and operating collectively for the best interests of the athletes and member institutions. 

OPERATIONAL GOALS

The EUCHL is comprised of accredited universities dedicated to excellence in education. The EUCHL has identified the following as operational goals:

  • Support the men's and eventually women's ice hockey programs in the league to achieve competitive and academic excellence at the highest levels of intercollegiate athletics;
  • Build a tradition and legacy of excellence which fosters the development, growth, and popularity of intercollegiate hockey;
  • Develop the most widely recognized brand among college hockey leagues in Europe highlighted each year by a prominent year-end EUCHL championship;
  • Establish and sustain respected officiating crews and systems in intercollegiate hockey;
  • Build a sustainable financial model to support league and team operations;
  • Assist other intercollegiate hockey leagues and entities that support the game to grow the sport of ice hockey.
