Job Opening: Social Media & Website Manager
Organization: EUCHL (European University & Collegiate Hockey League)
Location: Remote / Hybrid (Europe-based preferred)
Type: Part-Time or Full-Time (Flexible)


Role Overview

The Social Media & Website Manager will be responsible for building and managing the EUCHL’s digital presence, including all social platforms and the official league website.

This role is ideal for someone who understands both sports culture and digital storytelling, and who wants to be part of launching and growing a new league from the ground up.


Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management

  • Manage and grow EUCHL accounts (Instagram, X/Twitter, Facebook, TikTok)
  • Create and schedule engaging content (graphics, highlights, announcements)
  • Cover league news, games, and weekly features (e.g., “Warrior of the Week”)
  • Engage with fans, players, and teams

Website Management

  • Maintain and update the official EUCHL website
  • Post news articles, standings, schedules, and player features
  • Ensure accurate and timely information across all pages

Content Creation

  • Develop consistent visual and editorial style
  • Coordinate with teams for content (photos, stats, stories)
  • Assist in branding and league identity development

Game Day / Weekly Coverage

  • Post live updates (scores, highlights)
  • Produce weekly recaps and feature content

Qualifications

Required:

  • Experience managing social media accounts (sports preferred)
  • Basic website management experience (WordPress or similar)
  • Strong written English skills
  • Understanding of hockey or willingness to learn quickly

Preferred:

  • Graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe, etc.)
  • Experience with sports media or leagues
  • Video editing skills
  • Familiarity with European hockey landscape
