The clock is running down for players still looking to secure a place in the European Union College Hockey League (EUCHL) for the 2026-27 season.

With enrollment deadlines rapidly approaching, players and families considering an EUCHL opportunity need to understand one important difference between playing college hockey in Europe and the system many North American players are accustomed to: when EUCHL enrollment closes, there are no late enrollments.

In the United States and Canada, players can sometimes find opportunities after traditional recruiting and enrollment deadlines have passed. Open roster spots, transfers, late admissions, academic exceptions and other circumstances can create opportunities well into a season.
