EUCHL Announces Live Streaming Opportunities for Local Sports Broadcasters Across All Six Teams

The European Union College Hockey League (EUCHL) is inviting local individuals, students, hockey enthusiasts, media professionals, and aspiring broadcasters to become part of the league's growing live-streaming operation for the 2026–27 season.

All six EUCHL teams will be looking for local people interested in helping produce and stream home games live on FloHockey, giving individuals an opportunity to gain real-world experience in sports broadcasting while becoming an important part of their local college hockey team.

The six founding EUCHL teams are:

• Bratislava Capitals — Bratislava, Slovakia
• Brno Lions — Brno, Czech Republic
• Prague Guardians — Prague, Czech Republic
• Prague Spartans — Czech Republic
• Lodz Legion — Łódź, Poland
• Ostrava Steel Hawks — Ostrava, Czech Republic

The EUCHL's partnership with FloHockey provides the league with an international streaming platform and an opportunity to bring European college hockey to viewers around the world.

An Opportunity Beyond the Ice

The league is particularly interested in people with an interest in:

• Live sports broadcasting
• Camera operation
• Video production
• Play-by-play announcing
• Color commentary
• Graphics and statistics
• Replay and production
• Social media and digital content
• Sports journalism
• Hockey analysis

Previous professional broadcasting experience is not required. The EUCHL is interested in finding enthusiastic local people who are willing to learn, work with the team and help create a professional game-day broadcast.

For students studying communications, media, journalism, broadcasting, marketing, sports management or related fields, the opportunity can provide valuable practical experience that goes well beyond the classroom.

Become Part of the Team

"One of the things we want to build with the EUCHL is an opportunity for local communities to become involved with their teams," said EUCHL leadership. "You don't have to be a professional broadcaster to get started. If you love hockey, enjoy working with cameras or technology, or think you would be good behind a microphone, we want to hear from you."

Each team will determine its own local production requirements and will work with interested individuals to establish game-day responsibilities and training.

The league believes the streaming operation can become a pathway for young broadcasters and media professionals to build a portfolio of live college sports production experience, while helping introduce EUCHL hockey to a much larger international audience.
